The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services issued a press release today (March 2, 2010) explaining that unemployment benefits are expiring for claimants who exhausted their maximum 26 weeks of benefits during the last week of February. Click here to read the press release.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services has also created a new Unemployment Compensation Benefits Inquiry Web site that is now availalbe for the public. Click here to log onto the Web site.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Service also began using an automated calling system on March 2, telling state residents if their unemployment benefits are expiring.
